From August 8 to 17, 2024, Barcelonnette celebrates the history of the Ubaye valley with Mexico.

Every August, Barcelonnette gets a taste of Mexico.

For nearly 40 years, this is a chance to discover the customs, music and gastronomy of Latin America through free shows, street performances and workshops.

The rousing tunes of the mariachis, the flamboyantly dressed dancers and the Aztec culture await you at the Latin-Mexican Festivals.

This unique festival gets the heart of the city beating, perpetuating a tradition that spans the ages and generations with growing fervour. Its aim is to promote a shared history between Mexico and the Ubaye valley.

Like tens of thousands of lovers of Latino-Mexican culture, or just curious onlookers, come and discover the various events taking place at this colourful festival.

Barcelonnette Latino-Mexican Festival

Barcelonnette Latino-Mexican is an annual event held in the town of Barcelonnette in the Alpes de Haute-Provence region of France.

What is the origin of the Barcelonnette Latino-Mexican Festival?
